She practiced veterinary medicine in Prince George's County and Calvert County, Maryland for 24 years. Dr. Gurshman joined LAH in 2017 when her family moved to Hagerstown. She and her dogs enjoy long walks on the C&O Canal and exploring local hiking trails.

Amy has been in the veterinary field for about 30 years on & off, starting right out of high school. She previously worked at Longmeadow back in 2008 as a Veterinary Assistant/Surgical Tech, then returned to the field as a Client Service Representative and re-joined the Longmeadow team in 2019 as Office Manager. She then moved into the Assistant Hospital Manager position and is now our Hospital Manager. Amy can still be seen performing Technician and CSR duties from time to time. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé David, her children and her many brothers and sisters (5), reading, camping and relaxing. Amy currently has 2 dogs — Zuma and Riley, 2 cats — Chibi and Roadrunner, a grand pup Finley, and shares custody of her grand-horse Private Pilot.

Dr. Melissa Horman is a Hagerstown, MD local. She received her Bachelor's degree from Shepherd University and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in Arizona. She has two dogs and one cat. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Felicia Dryburg, a native of West Virginia, has been practicing companion animal medicine and surgery in this region for over 18 years. In 2001, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Shepherd College, West Virginia. She then went on to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (2006) from Tuskegee University in Alabama. She is an active member of the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA), formerly the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). She comes to Longmeadow Animal Hospital with a diverse work history that includes emergency and critical care, preventative and shelter medicine experience. Her special interests are feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and elimination disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, knitting, and spending time with her family.

Sarah joined the Longmeadow team in September 2024, but has been in the veterinary field for 8 years. The majority of her career has been spent working in emergency veterinary medicine before making the switch to primary vet care. She obtained her veterinary assistant certification in 2013 from HCC, but prefers to work reception as she enjoys the client interaction. In her off time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading & gardening. She lives in Hagerstown, MD with her husband, their 4 dogs and 3 cats. Sarah's day-to-day goal is advocating for pets and providing owners with the best possible customer service.

Hayley has been with LAH since January 2024, but has been in the veterinary field for 8 years. Her hobbies include fishing and anything related to the water. She currently resides in Waynesboro, PA with her boyfriend and cat, Miami. She loves working with and helping pets because she knows animals are like children to everyone. She feels that “We are our pets' voice, and it's up to us to advocate for them in all ways possible.”

Ashley has been in the field of veterinary medicine for 20 years. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2008 with a degree in veterinary technician medicine. Ashley has a very large heart for animals, especially the misunderstood breeds — pit bulls/Staffordshire Terriers, Rotties, German Shepherds. She believes in Fear Free (Certified) handling and makes sure to take her time with every pet she interacts with, treating them as if they were her own. In her spare time you can find Ashley with her fiancé, their two pit bulls (Sage and Jupiter) and three human children — enjoying nature walks, going to the river, parks, finding new lighthouses to see, or just relaxing with family.

Tiffany has been with LAH since 2011. She is a graduate of Wilson College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2008. Tiffany enjoys helping pets feel better and stay healthy while also helping pet owners understand the science behind veterinary medicine. Her primary focus within LAH is surgery and ultrasound (on top of managing the assistant team members). Tiffany has been performing ultrasounds since 2017 and is very interested in this line of veterinary services. She is married to Brock and has many “fur children”: 2 dogs (Azure & Layla), 3 indoor cats, 4 barn cats, and many horses/minis. This is Tiffany's second career — previously she was a tax accountant and graduated from Penn State with a degree in Accounting.

Zoey has been a member of the Longmeadow team since 2019. She was born and raised in Hagerstown, MD and graduated from HCC in 2021 with a degree in Biology. Growing up, her childhood home backed up to a private farm, where she was always interested in the horses, cows, goats and cats that lived on the other side of the fence. Her family also always had dogs, cats and other small animals. Zoey was always known to bring home sick or injured animals to save. Today Zoey lives with her fiancé, daughter, and her own dog Melo and cat Remy.

Lexi joined the Longmeadow team in 2021. She is a New York City native and a Wilson College graduate (class of 2023) where she studied Animal Science and Small Business Management. Her love of animals started from day one, growing up in a house full of pets. She also has a deep love for horses that developed at age 5 after visiting her Aunt & Uncle in Tennessee. Lexi worked as a veterinary assistant through her middle and high school years, taught riding lessons, and led trail riding groups. After managing several equine facilities in the DMV area, she recently returned to small animal medicine to allow more time with her personal horses and family. She now lives with her fiancé, cat and 2 rescue American Staffordshire mixes.

Lexi had worked with Longmeadow previously in 2021 as a Kennel Technician and returned to LAH in 2023 as a Client Service Representative. Lexi is a 2020 graduate of Smithsburg High School and 2023 graduate of HCC for Certified Nursing Assistant. Lexi has always had a love of animals, and currently lives with her pup Finley (Finn) and has her OTTB horse, Private Pilot.

Aly has lived in Sharpsburg, MD her whole life and has always found interest in veterinary medicine. From day one, she's always wanted to be a veterinarian. Aly is currently enrolling in prerequisite courses to begin her journey of becoming a veterinarian. She has always had a love for animals and wants to help in any way possible — part of helping animals is also helping their owners, and Aly is a very big people person who loves to talk. She has two dogs: her family dog Sadie (a pit bull terrier mix, 11) and her own dog Smokey (a pit bull mix, 7). She has also had many fish over the years. Aly aspires to be a crazy animal lady when she grows up.
